LHFH's Chair Rev. Dr Shannon Ledbetter and Board Member Linda Bright of Active Public Relations recently attended the Housing Excellence Awards ceremony in Manchester.

Shannon and Linda both spoke at the event to raise awareness of our achievements, future aspirations and the need for donations, gifts in kind and corporate volunteers.

The event was attended by over 600 key housing professionals from all over the UK, including registered social landlords, contractors and local authority chief housing officers.

The Housing Excellence Awards are organised by Excel Publishing, who produce Northern, Midlands and Southern Housing magazines. They celebrate companies that make social housing work, whether by constructing houses, running social housing schemes or developing products and services that aid with housing issues.

LHFH was fortunate and very grateful to be nominated as the beneficiary for the evening's raffle, which raised over £4,000, including a very generous £500 donation from the Worcestershire-based Thomas Vale Group.
